Dear Frankie

Dog-to-Dog Advice™

dearfrankied2d.jpg

Where the treats are imaginary, but the advice is real.

Frankie answers questions that dogs and humans often ask themselves, but are too timid to voice out loud.

Over five years and 260+ newspaper advice columns, two books, and a growing video series, Dear Frankie has built a body of work that explores the universal experiences of loss, belonging, fear, and love and tackles them through eyes of a dog who meets every letter with warmth and wisdom.

There's the dog left behind by the rescue boat in a flood, because he's not family. The dog coming to terms with aging. The dog trying to console his mom who is struggling with the loss of independence.

Frankie answers them all—not because the questions are simple, but because they never are.

Frankie and her co-host Rufus — a bloodhound of considerable gravitas — cohost Dear Frankie Dog-to-Dog Advice™, a radio talk show where every episode tackles a new dilemma, and a chance to see the world a little more clearly through a dog’s  eyes.
Rufus reads the letter, Frankie delivers the advice, and ends with a reminder that problems get easier when there is a solution.
